OUR TEAM

The team starts with our vision: freedom from substance abuse for all. 

At inception in 2008, the Board chose the name Safe and Healthy Duval Coalition, Inc - a Florida corporation. Safe and Healthy applied for and was awarded a 501 c 3, effective January 16, 2009, as a community coalition working to prevent substance abuse, and eventually added the dba Drug Free Duval  to succinctly tie in the mission with the working name of the organization.

Drug Free Duval focuses on sustainable substance abuse prevention throughout Jacksonville and the north Florida region working in collaboration with community partners to address the root issues of substance misuse and abuse. For a list of our community partners click here.
