Please join Drug Free Duval for a free training about Safe Storage & Safe Disposal of Medication, and how to dispose of medication by using a medication disposal bag, Deterra. Participants of this training will receive a free Deterra Bag.

This is your chance to change your mindset and the culture around storing and disposing of your prescription medication. You will leave this training with ways to be accountable, knowing who is responsible for prescription medication, the truth about drug sharing, and why safe storage & safe disposal matters. You'll examine the culture around sharing medication, and become part of the solution that can change our community.

FSCJ, in partnership with NEFCADA, is hosting a Community Wellness Summit on January 29, 2021, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm online via Zoom. Community members, students, professionals, and everyone interested is invited to come and learn about topics related to integrated healthcare, mental health, substance use prevention, trauma-informed practices, and other issues that affect our community. With five breakout sessions and two keynote speakers, attendees will be able to learn from a variety of individuals and experts in the field. 7 CEUs will be offered through CE Broker.
